The skill, endurance and determination that took two Sri Lankan climbers to the summit of the world yielded important lessons for employees of CEAT Kelani Holdings, the country’s leading tyre manufacturer, which recently hosted a motivational dialogue with Everest conquerors Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala and Johann Peries.
The event at the company’s head office in Kelaniya was attended by employees of all levels who were joined by members of the CEAT Management Committee. “Training, motivating and inspiring our employees to continuously strive for improvement is one of the principal factors in our success, and the unparalleled achievement of these two amazing Sri Lankans provided deeply insightful material for a successful programme,” CEAT Kelani Managing Director Mr Vijay Gambhire said.
