Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited (Allianz Lanka) announced its partnership with Sri Lanka Olympians (SLO) to extend a host of benefits to the nation’s Olympians. The two parties entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard at a formal ceremony held under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Dullas Alahapperuma at the Sports Ministry premises. Several Sri Lankan Olympians, Ministry officials and representatives from Sri Lanka Olympians and Allianz Lanka were present at this event. Saluting Sri Lanka’s Olympians, Allianz Lanka has offered to provide them with a medical cover and personal accident cover for their protection. Speaking at the event, the Minister of Education Sports and Youth Affairs Dullas Alahapperuma said, “I would like to commend Allianz Lanka and SLO for coming together in support of our Olympic stars. Initiatives such as this will go hand in hand with the government’s programs for our sportspeople.
