The Bank Supervision Department of the Central Bank has approved the early closure of bank branches tomorrow (05) and the opening hours will be displayed in front of the bank. However, Bank opening hours will vary from bank to bank.
Further, The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) also announced that the stock market will close early at 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday (5 August 2020) in view of the parliamentary Election. Accordingly, trading will be limited to 1 1/2 hours from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
