Australia’s UWA appoints MTI for Sri Lanka

The University of Western Australia (UWA) has appointed MTI Consulting as its representative in Sri Lanka for marketing and student recruitment.

UWA Director of Future Students Trish Rechici said “UWA was delighted to provide the opportunity to MTI Consulting to represent UWA in Sri Lanka. UWA will work closely with MTI to market our courses and recruit students. This will include providing the necessary advisory and assistance for Sri Lankan students in terms of university application, facilitation and visa assistance. By obtaining the standardized training and certifications, MTI will become a Qualified Education Agent Counselor which signifies the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry. ”

MTI’s CEO Hilmy Cader said the partnership would provide a unique opportunity for Sri Lankan students to receive high quality international higher education from one of the top 100 universities in the world. Since UWA is part of the Group of 8 most prestigious universities in Australia, graduates of UWA will have a high recognition and demand from the corporates and the society both locally and internationally. MTI will comply with all the training and certification requirements to ensure best professional and ethical services to students.

It offers 68 undergraduate majors and 180 postgraduate courses to 24,000 students representing more than 100 countries.
