The Spices and Allied Products Producers’ and Traders’ Association (SAPPTA), in association with Sri Lanka Customs and Ministry of Primary Industries, will hold a seminar under the theme “Temporary Importation for Export Processing Scheme (TIEP)” on Thursday October 13th, 2016 from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm in the Ground Floor Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, 50, Nawam Mw, Colombo 02.
The seminar will be conducted by three prominent industry experts, Mr. Thilak Arumapperuma Arachchi, Superintendent of Customs – Sri Lanka Customs Bond Division, Mr. Nalaka Ratnayake, Manager – Export Shipping Department of Hayleys PLC and Mr. Bandula Wickramarachchi, Secretary to the Ministry of Primary Industries
Accordingly, the participants will be given comprehensive understanding on the Customs procedures under TIEP Scheme (TIEP 1 and TIEP 4), TIEP Scheme and its practical implication for the trade and Facilities offered by the Ministry of Primary Industries.
