Oodoowerre Estate Demodara, continues a record breaking trend and has set a new record for Uva High Grown OP for the second time in four months. At the auction of 15th February an Invoice of Oodoowerre sold at Rs. 690 per kg. Teas were purchased by Tea Link Colombo Pvt Ltd and auctioned by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
Oodoowerre Estate is part of Hapugastenne Plantations PLC, a member of the Finlays Group. Interestingly this estate holds three other records in the Uva High Grown category.
