Hayleys PLC, a prominently diversified group of companies in Sri Lanka has bought the Kudarah Island Resort in the Maldives. Hayleys has invested a sum of 23 million US dollars in this transaction through one of its subsidiaries Luxury Resort (Private) Limited.
The Kudarah Island Resort is a hotel complex comprising 51 luxury villas on the South Ari Atoll in the Maldives.
Meanwhile, a management agreement has been reached between Amaya Leisure and Luxury Resort (Private) Ltd and in future Kudarah Island Resort in the Maldives would be branded the Amaya Kudarah Maldives.
