TVS King, the 200 cc passenger three-wheeler, will be launched in the Sri Lankan market.
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has joined hands with Abans Auto for its three-wheeler exports to Sri Lanka, the company said.
Through this tie-up, TVS King, the 200 cc passenger three-wheeler, will be launched in the Sri Lankan market, a release said.
Abans Auto is the leading two-wheeler player in the Lankan market and makes Hero two-wheelers in the country. Besides, it also has channels to sell auto brands such as Dongfeng of China, and Force and MAN trucks from India.
Chennai-based TVS Motor Company makes scooters, commuter and sports bikes, and three-wheelers in India. Besides, it has also developed and sells premium sports bikes of German auto maker BMW Motorrad.
TVS has been expanding its automotive footprints in global markets. It recently also started selling its motorcycles and three-wheelers (Tuk-tuks) in Central America, hitching a sales ride with Guatemala-based Masesa.
