Sri Lanka’s national carrier, SriLankan Airlines reversing earlier plans to discontinue or reduce flights to key European destinations, has decided to continue the flights to those destinations, except Rome, Business Times reports.
The move has drawn welcome relief from all sections of the travel industry.
The airline, which is looking for ways to cut huge losses and debt accumulated during the last regime, was in serious discussions with lessors on how and whether it was possible to exit from a contract to purchase four Airbus 350s.
